US-Made Lunar Lander Achieves Historic Moon Landing #

A US-made lunar lander has successfully touched down on the moon, surpassing its final key milestones to become the first commercial spacecraft to land on the lunar surface. The condition of the lander, named Odysseus, is currently uncertain. Houston-based company Intuitive Machines, the developer of the robotic explorer, confirmed the successful landing. This is the first time a vehicle launched from the United States has landed on the moon’s surface since the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. The uncrewed spacecraft traveled from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the moon before making its final descent.
