France's Thales Bets on Defense, Cyber to Drive Growth in Coming Years

Thales is setting new targets to boost sales and margins through 2028, focusing on its defense and cybersecurity operations amid heightened geopolitical tensions. The French aerospace-and-defense group anticipates an average annual organic sales growth of 5% to 7% in this period compared to 2023. Furthermore, it aims for its earnings before interest and taxes margin to increase to between 13% and 14% by 2028, a rise from 11.6% last year.
